Gun for hire

A lot of the work I do is agency work & unfortunately I'm not allowed to showcase my involvement — but here's some ExpressionEngine work I've crafted from concept to delivery.

aucklandnz.com
aucklandnz.com — The official website for New Zealand's largest city
Note: The Dining, Events and Accommodation sections are running on a Symfony app, the rest is EE.

noshfoodmarket.com
noshfoodmarket.com — Boutique delicatessen making waves in New Zealand

northlandnz.com
NorthlandNZ.com — The official website for Northland, New Zealand

divethfive.co.nz
Dive the Five - A local tourism site I had fun developing

northpower.com
Northpower - New Zealand's largest electrical contracting company

Apart from knowing a great deal about ExpressionEngine — I can hold my own with Photoshop, I'm fluent with html/css, I can find my way around with jQuery and I can also offer input on information architecture during the early planning phases of an ExpressionEngine build.

Worked with the best

I've worked with some of New Zealand's better known web development agencies, freelancing as an extension of their team. Names include Shift, Pitch, TBWA\ and Sugar Ad Agency to name a few.

Add-ons

I also write a handful of addons for EE2, most notably Taxonomy which is growing in popularity. Browse more of my add-ons in the software section of my site

My main skillset with EE lies within knowing EE’s capabilities and working around client deliverables to create a solution that doesn’t blow the bank, and never fails to impress.

I’m quite honest with what I think is doable with minimal effort, and what will require specialist attention. I’m a jack of many, but when somethings got my head scratching, I’ll give you an honest opinion.

You’ll find that I’m fast, and have an eye for detail when implementing a design, or pulling off a feature request for your site. Currently I’m mainly doing work for other creative agencies, and maintaining a handful of key clients that I enjoy working with.

If you like my work, and think that I’d fit in as an extension of your organisation, get in touch eh.
